Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic and progressive series of postures that are connected by the breath.
By practicing breathing (Ujjai), postures (asanas), and direction of the gaze (Dristi), we learn to listen to the body and senses and cultivate a profound inner awareness.
Ashtanga Yoga consists of six series of postures: the primary, intermediate and Advanced Series A, B, C and D. Each series progresses in sophistication, and depth of posture.
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic, intense and complete practice. It enhances breathing, strengthens muscles at every level, increases flexibility and tone, relieves stress and tension and improves concentration and relaxation.
Gradually the practice purifies, strengthens and balances the body and mind.
